RYA Start Yachting Course
A 2-day course intended for novices. By the end of the course, participants will have experienced steering a yacht, sail handling, rope work and be aware of safety on board.
RYA Competent Crew Course
A 5-day course intended for beginners and those who would like to become active crew members rather than just passengers and who have some dinghy or cruising experience.
RYA Day Skipper Practical
A 5-day practical course spent on board, and intended to teach pilotage, navigation, semanship and boat handling to the standard required to skipper a small cruising yacht safely by day and in tidal waters.
RYA Coastal Skipper Practical
A 5-day practical course, spent on board the yacht, and intended to teach the skills and techniques required to skipper a yacht (7-15m) safely on coastal waters and offshore passages by day and night.
