RYA Powerboat Level 1
A 1-day taster course providing an introduction to powerboating. Tuition is provided on 'Blue Jacket', our school rib, an 8m Ribcraft, and includes all of the basic skills that are required to safely operate small powered craft.
The course commences with pre launching checks and moves on to learn how to operate the rib, bringing it alongside and maneouvring it in confined spaces. Safety equipment and the basic 'rules of the road' are included to provide an understanding of the requirements for safety at sea.
