RYA Powerboat Training
Quality Time is an RYA Training Centre, providing practical powerboat handling and navigational courses on craft up to 24m in length.
A suitably sized motor cruiser or our 7.8 metre RIB 'Blue Jacket' is provided for relevant courses if you do not have your own boat.
RYA Powerboat Level 1
A 1-day course providing an introduction to powerboating.
RYA Powerboat Level 2
A 2-day course intended to benefit those with no previous experience of handling a boat of any size, enabling the student to safely take charge of small planing and displacement craft.
RYA National Powerboat - Intermediate
A 2-day course intended to benefit those who have completed an RYA Level 2 and now wish to undertake short daytime coastal passages.
RYA National Powerboat - Advanced
A 2-day course intended to teach boat handling, seamanship, pilotage and navigation to the standards required to drive a planing powerboat safely by day and night in tidal coastal waters.
