Day Skipper shorebased
A six week course providing theoretical seamanship.
The RYA Day Skipper shorebased course is intended to provide the candidate with sufficient knowledge of the theory of navigation and seamanship. Time is spent in the classroom, introducing chart work, navigation, meteorology and the basics of seamanship for Helmsmen.
Successful candidates will be issued with the RYA Day Skipper shorebased certificate.
