Intermediate Powerboat Handler

This course is intended to benefit those who have completed an RYA Level 2 Course and now wish to undertake short daytime coastal passages.

Covers the practical use of pilotage and passage planning by day on coastal waters, using both traditional and electronic navigational techniques.

All on water work takes place in RIB’s and we use a variety of different craft including Ribcraft & Tornado boats. A life jacket will be supplied but candidates will be expected to supply suitable exposure protection.

Practical instruction will take place on both days with the course culminating in a short practical test, together with an assessment of the candidate’s theoretical knowledge.
